Our Practice

We focus on creative, well-managed design and what it provides aesthetically, functionally and experientially in a project.

Our designs follow core sensibilities and are uniquely custom to their goals, conditions and clients.

Page Paul Architecture embarks on every project as a collaborative team player with our clients, consultants, contractors and fabricators. We believe that deeply understanding our client’s needs, thoroughly studying project conditions, utilizing teammate input and creating considered design can achieve a solution that’s nuanced, richly layered, and specifically suited to our client’s goals.

With diverse project-type experience, our office’s rigorous approach is well suited for guiding residential, commercial & hospitality projects from conception to completion.

Our Office

Formed in 2020, we are a young but experienced office with licensed architects and interior designers. We operate internally as a collaborative team and look to utilize team member’s strengths for maximum impact.

Joanna Page Hartman, AIA, ASID, NCIDQ

Principal

Born and raised in the Midwest, Joanna was drawn to the warm clime and the self-proclaimed “weird” quaintness of the mid-00s Austin. International corporate design firm [SOM], done it. Boutique design firm [alterstudio], done it. Family run design build [CG&S], yep that one too. Each invaluable experience specifically chosen to push beyond her comfort zone, to forge new relationships, to encourage growth – both personal and professional – and, most importantly, to never stop learning.

Dozens of local, state, national and international award-winning projects later, Joanna is equally versed in commercial, residential and interior design project types – both new and remodeled. Hard working and driven to excel, she fulfilled both of her childhood professional goals (architectural and interior design licenses) all while honing her aesthetic sensibilities as well as her intuition for how to be the best architect for her clients. Through clear communication, she balances how to bring out their style, what best suits their needs and how far to push them beyond their comfort zone.

Outside of the office, Joanna can be found soaking up inspiration hiking through national parks with her family, thriving on the energy of big cities, and baking with her daughter.

Jeremy served as project architect on numerous MHOA projects which can be found in Austin, Houston, Fort Worth, Fayetteville and elsewhere.

When he is not immersed in architecture, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family, hiking parks and catching the latest science fiction films.

Madison Mullins, NCIDQ, ASID

Interior Designer

A fifth generation Austinite, Madison returned to her home city after 4 years in Savannah, GA where she graduated with her Bachelor’s in Interior Design and minor in Architectural History from SCAD, the Savannah College of Art and Design. Madison started her career at a successful design build firm where she designed numerous award-winning projects and had her work published in magazines such as Austin Home and Tribeza. Her interior design license, achievements, and traditional design style make her stand out from other young designers.

Residential design is where Madison’s heart has always been because she loves developing relationships with her clients that last long after their project is complete. She cares about people and wants to create beautiful spaces that reflect her clients’ personalities and improve how they live in their homes.

When she’s not working, Madison can be spotted at antique stores around town, trying all the new items at Trader Joe’s, or at happy hour with friends and a frozen drink in hand.

Fabiana Granados

Project Designer

In a vibrant blend of cultures and architectural experiences, Fabiana, originally from Venezuela, recently made Austin her home after spending time in Thailand. Fabiana pursued her architectural studies at the Central University of Venezuela, earning a bachelor’s degree from the Architectural School Carlos Raul Villanueva. With a certification in sustainable interiors from UGREEN, she is driven to obtain her LEED certification and actively contribute to achieving sustainable projects.

Fabiana began her career freelancing on various outdoor-residential projects and collaborating with small architectural firms in Caracas. Her international journey led her to Phuket Thailand, where she worked in construction management, refining her skills as an architectural designer and gaining expertise in interior design for residential and hospitality projects.

Beyond the drafting table, Fabiana finds joy in outdoor walks, coffee moments, and energetic activities like climbing and dancing. Her move to Austin reflects a commitment to continuous learning and a desire to contribute her global perspective to the local design community.
